Welcome aboard!

The Caboose is a unique, vintage railcar accommodation, and part of the fun is that it isn't quite like staying in a traditional cabin or hotel. We want you to have an amazing stay while also helping us take good care of this special little space.

By making a reservation for The Caboose, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the following Guest Agreement & House Rules.

Guest Agreement & House Rules

YOUR RESERVATION

The Caboose may only be occupied by the number of guests included in your reservation. Only registered guests may stay overnight.

Parties, events, or gatherings are not permitted without prior approval.

Please treat The Caboose, its furnishings, and the surrounding property with care.

THE CABOOSE

The Caboose is a historic-inspired railcar with unique features, compact spaces, stairs/steps, vintage furnishings, and other elements that differ from a traditional vacation rental.

Please do not climb on, move, dismantle, or tamper with any part of the railcar, its furnishings, equipment, or anything marked as off limits.

GAS FIREPLACE

The Caboose is equipped with a gas fireplace for your comfort and enjoyment. Please use the fireplace only as instructed in the guest guide.

Never leave the fireplace unattended while it is operating, and keep furniture, bedding, clothing, and other flammable materials a safe distance away from the fireplace.

The fireplace and surrounding surfaces can become very hot. Please use extra caution around children and pets.

Do not place anything on or inside the fireplace unless specifically designed for that purpose.

If you smell gas, notice an unusual flame, or have any concern about the fireplace, turn it off if it is safe to do so, leave the Caboose, and contact us immediately. If you believe there is an emergency, call 911.

PETS

Pets are not permitted. Service animals are allowed.

Regarding Service Dogs and Emotional Support Animals: Emotional Support Animals differ from trained and registered service animals. Service dogs are welcome without an additional fee. You will be asked two questions permitted by the ADA:

1. Is the dog a service animal required because of a disability?
2. What work or task has the dog been trained to perform?
Service animals must be harnessed, leashed, or tethered unless these devices interfere with the animal’s work or the disability prevents their use. In such cases, the animal must be under control through voice, signal, or other effective means and never left alone.

If a pet is misrepresented as a service animal, we may seek financial restitution, report fraudulent claims, and evict the guest without further notice, with no refund for the remaining stay.

**Note that, as of 2022, both Airbnb and airlines no longer recognize Emotional Support Animals as service animals. If you have an ESA, please book a pet-friendly property and pay the applicable fees.

Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside or around The Caboose.

Because of the surrounding landscape and fire risk, please follow any outdoor smoking restrictions provided during your stay.
